Zipline Canopy Tour Coming to Smugglers’ Notch Vermont
In partnership with ArborTrek Canopy Adventures, Smugglers’ Notch will open a year-round zipline canopy tour on December 20. The tour will feature 8 to 10 ziplines (depending on the season), two suspension bridges, and one rappel. The longest zipline will provide a ride of about 1000 feet, and the experience will be thrilling and memorable for new as well as veteran zipline riders. Scenic tree platforms will be the vantage point for breathtaking views of the Resort, Mount Mansfield and the Smugglers’ Notch area. In keeping with Smugglers’ commitment to environmental stewardship through nature-focused programs that combine learning and fun, the canopy tour guides will highlight local ecology and natural history. The canopy tour will be available to overnight guests, day visitors and groups.
